The DDM4 V7 Series are the latest release of the V3 M4 Gas Blowback System by GHK and are possibly one of the best Gas Blowback M4s in the market! GHKs have always been known at making some of the best GBBRs in the market and the M4 series is one of their most mature and proven gas systems out in the market.


The new release includes two different models, a 10.3" and 14,5" variant. Both come with the length specific Daniel Defense licensed MFR M-Lok CNC Handguard and a Daniel Defense Receiver Set with all the V7 Markings!

 

The V3 System

In late 2024, they released their 3rd iteration of the system and greatly improved it for reliability and performance. The notable features are the cylinder capacity on their Bolt Carrier which improved gas efficiency and packed a much stronger "blowback" kick! In return to this change, the buffer is upgraded to stainless steel to further enhance this felt recoil and to improve on its durability. They also included a weighted insert and a stronger recoil spring with the package to increase the said recoil in the case that the user would run CO2 magazines! That being said, the combination is really down to the user's preference and usage of gas types.

 

The Green Gas magazine was also revised to have a larger gas reservoir which meant you could shoot over 200 rounds in Semi with one fill of gas! They also corrected the angle of the magazine in how it contacts with the nozzle (which is also new to accommodate the better feeding and larger air cylinder), gave it a new feed lip and follower which allows smoother feeding and in return means less BB jams. Other additional upgrades are revisions to the Hammer Spring and Valve knocker and etc.

Just like all the goodies found in their V2 System, you still get the one piece CNC steel outer Barrel, the full steel controls and hammer assembly, a CNC steel Bolt Carrier, a Cerakoted Upper and Lower Receiver, their GBB type Hop Up Chamber which allows direct adjustments from the extraction port with their unique adjustment tool. The GHK Hop Rubber paired with the minor adjustable chamber allows the GHK V3 to use heavy BBs such as 0.40-0.45g and fine tune them to fly at some incredible distances of 60-70m out of the box.


To summarize the lot of things:

  • Incredible Hop Up for Range and Accuracy - Shoot 0.40g BBs 60-70m out of the box!


If all these aren't enough to justify the GHK V3 M4s in being the best GBBRS in the market, I would definitely still say that they would easily take the spot in the top 3!
