The hat is made of a mixed fabric - cotton and polyester. The rip-stop binding and thorough stitching make it resistant to mechanical damage. A flexible rubber band allows to easily adjust the circumference around the head. Another adjustable strap is used to fix under the chin. The wide rim effectively protects against glare and rain. The hat is equipped with brass vents with an insect intrusion net. A Velcro area is stitched on top to attach a patch. The last catch is a hidden pocket on a map, or documents inside a hat.
