The real Staccato P is approved for duty by more than 1,300+ law enforcement agencies and carried by elite units like the Texas Rangers and the US Marshals Special Operations Group, as well as thousands of officers across the country. The C2 is a shorter and more compact version for a more compact and lightweight carry.

The Staccato C2 is used by a wide variety of users, including law enforcement officers, competitive shooters, and civilians who carry for personal defense. Its combination of compact size, high capacity, and high-performance features makes it versatile for many applications. While the Staccato P is more widely known as a duty gun, the C2 is approved for off-duty or plainclothes carry by many police departments. 

Individuals within agencies: Many officers purchase and carry the C2 themselves, even if the larger Staccato P is the standard duty pistol. Some agencies, such as the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, have specifically approved officers to use Staccato handguns as their primary weapon. The Los Angeles Police Department has had specific limited runs of the C2 to meet its barrel length requirements for on-duty use
