The effectiveness of airsoft gun tuning depends on several components. Bore Up kits from SHS help extract additional compression without strengthening the existing spring, resulting in increased speed and extended gearbox life.

The QG0035 kit is designed for installation in AK-series V3 AEG rifles . The kit is installed as a complete unit, as upgraded parts are not compatible with the standard parts. This includes the cylinder and head as a one-piece design, silent piston head, tappet delayer and air nozzle.

The Bore-Up kit aims to increase compression by increasing the space within the cylinder-piston assembly. This space is achieved by increasing the internal dimensions to increase the air volume.
These kits are primarily recommended for installation in longer barreled AEGs with an inner barrel of 350-550mm or more . This kit works with springs rated from M130 to M160.

The SHS components reviewed are made of CNC machined aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring precision and improved sealing.
